Maybe they'll follow the Beckham's and name her where she was conceived -

Princess Upstairs

Shared a bed with grandpapa when each was married to another.

Oh no.  It makes me think of Charlotte the Harlot.

I have always liked the name Charlotte. My husband vetoed it for our daughter for that very reason.

I don't think it will be a problem for the royals though Smiley Very Happy

I have a grandchild named Charlotte........... only 1 family member was crude enough to use that analogy and was soon shut down.

Beautiful name and a beautiful child.

How was Princess Alexandra norti?

Don't know. Present Queen's second name, it can't be to 'shameful'.

Just heard the names announced.....Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.   She will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge

I'm sure they aren't interested in what I think.....but I think the names are lovely and fitting.

OK Sorry for the Charlotte the Harlot thing.  I will try to shake it from my brain now.  I do like that they included Diana in the name.

Joono

Poor baby. She's sure to be nicknamed Charlie.

Three out of four correct - although not necessarily in the right order. Still, I suppose you will be pleased enough with that.
