Who do these people think they are?  This is another ridiculous rule typical of stupid men in authority who presumably feel threatened in some way.  Utterly ludicrous.

I don't think it's that easy. You'd face huge opposition from your family and friends, and the community you've grown up with. You'd face ostracism, shame and deprivation.

It would take a lot of courage and determination, and the result would not always be worth it.

Saudi women are now allowed to drive cars..
on video games 🙂

By the way,how come all the prophets are men? Ever wonder about that?

No I've never wondered about that. It's perfectly clear.

Perhaps if these women's husbands now have to take the kids to school instead, family support from at least one corner might be forthcoming.  But honestly, we don't know what this group is like.  If women were previously allowed to drive then the community may not simply roll over and accept this change.  A lot also depends on the person who instituted this rule - is he the type who has made other silly pronouncements, or is on some kind of power trip....or is he a respected member of the community?

If it was me, I'd be prepared to defy them.  It could be a matter of the kids' safety to drive them to school.  If that's the case I don't see how any good parent can allow this to happen.
