Chook people, i have a serious question.

Im taking care of my mothers house and animals atm while shes gone up north, my mother said the youngest chook recently stopped laying...

I gave her those 3 chooks about 6 years ago when they were reasonably young, At what age do they stop laying?

im thinking of getting her a fresh batch. Tia
