Yes I know the cliche. I thought we were a bit past that.

My aplologies, icy.

My withered brain saw 'barefoot...kitchen'  and automatically went there.

I typed without thinking.

I shall censure my brain accordingly.

It is awfully cold in Sydney. Last night we had a very brief violent storm with thunder and lightning but with hail... I have never seen that before left a layer of marble sized hail all over the place .I heard on the news there was some rare thundersnow in the Bathrst area but here it was hail ,in inner sydney .

brrrr cold and wet and looking like the same for the next 4 days or so...rained most of the day..good for the garden but that`s it!!

A severe weather system has brought blizzards, snow, heavy rain and gale-force winds to areas of south-eastern Australia.

A major cold front has created a winter wonderland in parts of New South Wales, with good snow falls recorded in the Alpine region and a light dusting in the Central Tablelands.

Victorians have been experiencing some of their coldest temperatures this year, while snow also dusted areas of the ACT and South Australia.

And it doesn't look like it's going anywhere either!!!

for about the last week now, here in Wgtn, NZ, we've had heavy rain, gale force winds, hail & snow & yet to get past 9 degrees celcius

lowest has been 4 degrees so damn cold over here but because we didn't have a real winter last year, at least i'm wearing my winter wardrobe this year!

Down to 3 degrees here tonight in Tauranga, 13 in the day time, at least the sun was shinning today, rain next week.

I have never been so cold as this winter.

Lilli Cat is feeling it as well and is under the doona at night 🙂

It's about 15/16 degrees here on Norfolk heading for a low of 14 over-night, was alittle warmer before nightfall and nothing like what your experiencing.  I hope your not at freezing point yet with the water  frozen in your taps.

Slightly humid...otherwise, it's perfect. : )
