Yes I thought it was a good result too.
The food was amazing from all three girls.
I really had to laugh out loud, literally, when Georgia said to herself
"C'mon, youcandoityoucandoityoucandoit"
Did everyone else hear that?
So finale tomorrow night - looks damned hard going.

It does look good but I'm not a fan of Heston.

Yes, looking forward to it.
I thought Jessica was unlucky but desserts aren't her strength as she said. Popcorn & grapefruit though? It's not anything I would order.
Her mains though looked a 10/10 all the way.
Georgie looked about ready to keel over under the stress, made a change from Jessica crying though.
I think Billie will win the final as she is very steady & her dishes are consistently good.
Whether she is the best cook of the 3 I don't know. But she can definitely work better to a time frame.
Does the second runner up get any prize money? There really should be something for the top 3, IMO.

Does the second runner up get any prize money?
Laura got $20,000 as runner up last year. She is opening a Tapas bar in Mclaren Vale.
But I think all of the top 5 also get help from MC contacts if they need it.
There are probably also businesses offering the top finishers various types of contracts if they are not pursuing their own.
Go Billie. ![]()

Yes, I am guessing it helps them in a career if that is what they are after.
And I suspect if you are not reasonably young & after a career in the field, you may as well pack your bags as you won't be able/allowed to win Masterchef.
I could be wrong though.

If this dish was done by the best professional chefs in the country, most probably wouldn't complete it in the time.
To expect amateurs to replicate this within a limited time, first time, is over the top and won't necessarily bring about the best result.
Oh well, go Billie.
I am SO impressed with her.
