How can anyone not love Billie and her family?

Such a deserved winner.    Appeared a little shy and reserved at first but consistently wanted to present well.

Then seemed to grow with confidence, the MC kitchen bringing out the best in her and I think she even surprised herself.

Oh I love good results. I am happy, no doubt many Aussies are happy for her.

Yep, good result. I was a bit worried when she left all that time for the sugar ball and it wasnt looking like she was going to get one made. I thought Heston might offer her a job, good on her!

When Heston offered her a job, what went through my mind was

"Hell, no!  I'm not doing that everyday!"

Funny that. I thought she could say, Thanks Heston but I need to consider the other offers. 

Well I have a bit of a cold and a temperature so I blubbered through the last hour of the show but there was never any doubt.  I blubbered even more every time they showed Billie's dad with tears in his eyes.  

It was a very good series this year.  Loved it.

Billie was amazing in that final segment.  

That dish was just WOW.... and to get all the components made was remarkable.  

Way to go Billie.
