What I'm trying to say is that being on your own is

Probably the best time to start

No external influences

But Stawks is right talking to people is good

Your family will support and love that you don't smoke

I told girls on day 5 when I was pretty sure I was on the right

Track

Glad to read its going well op.

I just had a meeting with a couple of people, and 1 of the men became fidgety, distracted and after 25 minutes downright irritated..

We had a break for 5 minutes, while phone calls were made, and he said- (almost furtively- psst do you know if theres anywhere I can have a smoke?) I had to break it to him that the campus was non smoking..he gave me such a look of despair..I really felt for him.

He started flicking through his phone and when we all returned, got up and said- look, Ive got to go..Im late for another meeting. The boss was NOT impressed and it was v tense..Im pretty sure his meeting was in his car, with a cigarette.

Yes i know that scenario well

Horrible to be held hostage all your

Life by a terrorist that will ultimately

Kill you after robbing you of your

Life savings

Silly man.   If he won't give it up, then he needs to travel with some

patches for just those times when he can't light up.

I suggested this to my ex SIL for long flights.   They worked for him

It was like spending time with a total drug addict...one leg was kicking, he kept flicking his pen, short sharp answers...From what the bossman said after he left- and actually, he fled the room, he will have some qustions re the importance of the 'meeting' ..tough stuff.

I put a spell on you

Because your mine

You better stop the

Things that you do

Oh baby I ain't lying

Lol

I've also decided it's time to quit but I have it in my head that I need the book by Allen Carr, to do so.

Can someone tell me where the book is sold ? not online as I don't have a CC.  I looked in BigW...nope.  Am going into town tomorrow and will look in Kmart and I think Dymocks is still open in town....or would the newsagents sell it ?

Hi Soulart Smiley Happy

I bought it quite recently from QBD bookshop in Mackay after spending a bit of time looking for it. And the bonus - it was reduced from about $27 down to $10. Some online stores offer paypal ... so that might work if you have a paypal balance?

Another option is looking for it in op shops. You never know!

I don't think the copy I bought has been very well recieved lol, so I may even be able to send it to you.

I have a copy Soulart.  I bought it years before I even gave up smoking but it didn't work for me.  I bought it more just out of interest really rather than actually wanting to give up smoking so that's most likely why.  I found it pretty boring and repetitive but it has worked really well for a lot of people.

If you want mine send me a pm.  I don't want anything for it, it's just sitting in a drawer doing nothing.

Joono

Thats nice j*oono

Oh, thankyou joono !

I will see if I can buy it tomorrow but if not I would LOVE to have yours.

This is the first time that I WANT to stop, other times has been pressure from others, so ofcourse it didn't happen.
