The wrens have come from over the road...
She's brown, he's brilliantly blue and black and wren number three is brown, but the base of it's tail is starting to turn blue...
"Mum", "Dad", and "Could be a boy"... ha ha.
They hop round the garden in a zig zag pattern, followed at about a three foot distance by the sparrows... ha ha.
They don't quite know what to make of these new birds, so they're following, but keeping their distance at the same time... ha ha.
Call yourselves omnivores, currawongs?
I had some "pizza rolls", essentially a flattened roll with cheese and bacon on it...
I thought, as an act of great kindness, and the fact that they were bordering on being inedible, ha ha, that I'd put them out for the currawongs...
Neatly chopped up, and where they can see them...
They ate the bread, and left the bacon... ha ha.
It's just my luck - birds with a reputation for eating pretty much anything, and I get the picky eaters, ha ha.
