Body Scrubs

What do you use? What do you recommend?

I've spent a fortune on skin care in my lifetime and body scrubs in particular either seem to work like clarins/dermalogica which are very expensive if you use them all the time or don't work at all (that being the cheap ones)

However my daughter bought me a product called Eco Tan which is a glove - similar to to those synthetic ones that don't work but much harsher - they are designed to scrub off fake tan. This comes highly recommended from me, I have only used it 3 times and my skin feels brilliant. So when you moisturize afterwards your skin is so soft.

I have always wanted a Turkish Bath but now I don't think I need one!

After my day doing housework - cleaning windows etc - I would be very grateful for a body scrub.

I don't care who or what they use.

I'm too tired.

Preferably one that works?

dermalogica, I keep forgetting what it's called. I like their pimple stuff, it's the only thing that has ever worked on my zits.

I really think it's unfair that at nearly 50 I still get pimple. I should probably stop eating so much rubbish. Has anyone tried the banana timtams? nomnomnom.  I always have good intentions of skin care, but it never happens.

Does what you eat really cause pimples?

Donna,  how often have you used it?

If it's for exfoliating before you tan and then

for removing the tan, how often is that?

Bit worried maybe you're over-using it.

Not good for your skin to over-use

I have learnt not to use a scrubber on my face.

It ends up doing more harm than good

Have put one in my watch list,  lol

Every second day, not for the face. I can absolutely guarantee it is a wonderful product

My daughter actually was advised by a beautician to use it for the body as it helps with ingrown hairs if you are waxing your body. It has also greatly assisted with stretch marks.

Maybe you should source them,   lol

They seem cheap enough - bet the mark-up is way up there

Oh and she moisturises with organic coconut oil after.

I got sick of sitting out in the garden looking at my dry skin even though I use good products.
