People communicate in different ways.

Does that make listening a bad thing?

There are people who look at a flower and won't see the beauty in it because they don't like that kind of flower.

Poetry is more than simple words, and if you look past those words to the thoughts, the ideas, the feelings, hopes and fears that are there, hiding in plain sight, you see the story the writer wants to tell.

Or you don't read it, because you don't like that style of writing...

I often look at what people call 'weeds' and think to myself, what beautiful living things they really are;  they are only weeds because some humans say they are, but the truth is, they belong on earth because they live here for a reason as well ....  Smiley Embarassed

I really like your prose and poetry opmania, it's always a mixture of meaningful, funny, serious and really says something about what it is to be able to feel/experience your life xx

I was told that weeds are just plants growing where you don't want them
