Yeah, it is.

I watched the race and then saw his face when they won

my tip is don't support horses being forced to run around a track for the entertainment and greed of humans.

Red Cadeaux didn't win, but instead became yet another casualty of this sad event.

It is hardly fair to blame the race for a horse breaking a leg.

That can happpen to a horse running around in a paddock.

comparing a horse running in a paddock to a horse race on a track is like comparing apples and oranges.

Well that sums up my luck in life right there, 24 horses , 23 with male jockeys 1with female , I pick a horse with a little man on to win the cup and what happens a bloody horse with a little woman on bloody wins, I couldn't win if I had all the tickets

Well a lady at work put $5 on and won $465. Good on her.

Hollywood couldn't have scripted a better and more worthy winner!

Just heard on the news Red Cadeaux is alive and well and his  leg injury is not life-threatening.

He has been immediately retired

I am thinking of reporting this whole thread to make it go away!

I have for many years, on the day of the MC, wandered down to  a local  TAB pokies pub and always selected 3 horses just  by their name and then  put $10.00 each way on each of them.

I spent a few years living in Penzance a fair while ago.

This year I forgot the Cup because I was changing some brake pads.   Arghhhhhhhhhh.
