Even makes the dog look happy.

If it's stopped you can close everything now.

Too cold for open doors

I hate leaf blowers.  I'm fairly certain I live in the town with the highest number of them per head of population of anywhere in the world.  

And they all like to use them at 8am on Sundays ggggrrrrrrrrrrr

I used to have a smoke detector mounted on the ceiling of the alcove outside the laundry, but every time I used the clothes dryer...

it's like the Dance of the Matador here, with much leaping about and flapping of the teatowel.

Scares the bejeebus outta the cat and sets the dog off howling.

A very loud one!  

I don't know except that it is hard wired and used to be connected to the back to base security system that we have never used.  It was here when we bought the house.

They usually have a back-up battery system in case of power outage too.
