sounds good Flashie do you have any drive-ins left in Tassie.. I noticed we've got one in Vic down the coast somewhere. I have fond memories of playing in the playground in my jammies before the movie started
(wouldn't do that now) ![]()

Today Melburnians have 10 screens in their immediate vicinity to choose from (counting Dromana as being basically suburban Melbourne). Rural Victorians however have no drive-in theatres currently in operation.

There has not been any drive-ins here for years.
I am currently sitting out in the gazebo here while the men discuss football.
I have eaten WAY too much.............not only the chockie biscuits..............but corn relish dip too..........![]()
Who are the two members our absent friend is getting blamed for having removed..................(which did not happen).

Told you it would be fun Flashie ![]()
I have no answer for your question Flashie - just another fabrication which is obviously par for the course.
It's times like this I welcome the three hour time difference between my kin and myself. We only have to wait until 9pm our time to wish them happy new year. Doubt we will see midnight here lol
Thankful I don't still live in Kirribilli on a night like this ...... the crowds were horrendous and I just heard the North Sydney area has been closed to revellers as there is no more room at the inn.
To all my t'othersider friends Happy New Year - may it bring you good health, happiness and wealth enough to tie a bow ![]()

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year & may 2016 be better for all of us!
Regarding drive ins, my daughter regularly takes her two kids to the drive in just past Dandenong, here in Melbourne.
According to my daughter there are always alot of cars and some nights the place is full.

Happy New Year Purple and Sandy
Purple I'm glad to hear they still do good business, I hope the kids enjoy them as much as we did when we were kids,
Thanks Stawka, it was sooo very hot last night... a couple of cool in drinks in the local club eased that a bit for us
