Apparently it's the name of a hill near Porangahau, in the Hawkes Bay area of New Zealand. Certainly puts the Taff's
'Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch' in the shade. They'll be well miffed if they knew. 
The Wiktionary says that it translates to - The hill where the great traveller (Chief) Tamatea with the bony knees, who slid and climbed mountains, played his flute to his beloved.
That's a nice name, it brings a smile to my face.
