Not my photo.
Isn't it beautiful? Three Brown Cuckoo Doves were frollicking about MY backyard yesterday.
They are about the size of a magpie. The setting sun highlighted the rusty tint of their feathers. No hint of fright as I went about my backyard cleanup chores. They like to eat the fruit/nuts of the lillie pillies.

They're beautiful Deb. I only hear their calling, I've never seen one.

The old bird died, and I found I had hours with nothing to do.
The time I would have spent with him became minutes that slowly ticked by.
Empty minutes.
I don't miss his presence, I miss the presence that he was, in my life.

I was wondering about your absence
