I witnessed a bit of pre-dawn gymnastics and trapeze artistry today.  

That wily ring tailed possum returned to his nest by the "scenic" route after visiting the flowering hakea.

 Yep, nice and cool here too today after rain yesterday.  The wind has increased and has blown a few palm fronds (again) to the ground with a heaving thud.  

(The possum must have the penthouse suite because he still took shelter after a "night on the town".)

Just finished reading (could hardly put it down) Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol".  

Gosh he must do some research.  It sort of made me want to read more about Freemasonry and cryptology and the geograpy of Washington's layout of buildings.  

But the younger Deb's craving of knowledge is being questioned by the alter aging brain.   Why, oh why?  What little wisdom I have achieved seems to have become a burden when there is no youth to show off to pass it onto. 

Better find another book to take my mind from this dilemma.  It won't be a certain Robert Louis Stevenson title though
