i know i don't post here anymore but i still think of your mum and dad
i agree with the others here, don't let the thread go, you know you can come in here and vent and get some support when needed,
even if you have nothing to report on your mum it doesn't matter

I'll try to keep it going but there may not be much to add very often.
In saying that though, i do have some news today.
Dad has a law firm here and in the UK looking into Mums case.
The council of the town Mum had her accident in, had known for years that the traffic conditions where Mum was hit, is a pedestrian deathtrap. Many people have been hit on that road and recomendations have been made to council numerous times to change it but they didnt.
So, this law firm have looked into it and have told dad he has a case.
Anyway, dad was organising a new wheelchair to be made for Mum. It was going to cost him about $10 000.
So this lawfirm say they are so confident in them winning dads case that they have paid for the chair for Mum and if they win, dad pays them back, and if they dont, he doesnt have to worry about it.
So, after months of chair making, he got it this week and Mum has been in it and looks really comfortable, but.......it's giving her bed sores 😞
So the chair is going back to the "drawing board" for some changes.
