So yesterday saw us dragging home this contraption and putting it together.  Wesley has taken to it immediately and is turning out to be a rather articulate athlete on it.

It wasn't quite as tall as we would have liked, so we added some rather large wheels to it so we could push it from place to place when necessary.

Wesley is adorable,  hope he gets some use out of it.

Scratching pole....nah, I'll just use the doorstep, ta

Comfy cat bed......nah, I'll just sleep on the cushions in the bay window, ta

I know what you mean Stawks, our old Burmese cat (who is now condescending to play with Wesley) is just like that, no interest at all in goodies.    At least, she is happy to wrestle with him a little bit now and run up and down the corridor, but still the occasional snort and growl just to put him in his place ..
