Lol,  it's called a gas cooktop, Kopes.

My jaffle iron belonged to my mother, it's about 70 years old

Know what you mean about the old jaffle makers...was quite sad when I had to throw mine out a couple of years ago to replace..

Am looking forward to tonights challenge-in Georges restaurant-anyone else had a meal there?

Impressed by Matts work ethic last night, also helping Chloe at the end of the cook was awesome.

Yes, I was also impressed with Matt helping out.

Although he was really helping both of them to get the immunity pins (cynical, I know)

And I thought the Hellenic Republic was his mum's restaurant - did he take it back?

Oooo, it seems there are 3 of them.  Brunswick, Kew and Williamstown

Wonder which one tonight?

I thought the one in Kew was St Katherines ?

Opposite the old post office.

It closed and re-opened as Hellenic Republic according to Mr Google

Am still working, but will watch MC later..

From the images last night( that I can remember!) I think its at Hellenic Republic, Brunswick.

Awesome food..

Kew, and it looks fun so far. Smiley Happy

I was pleased to see the blue team win the challenge tonight (yay, didn't have to work!!). The red team were all over the place and they did the exact opposite of what George told them. Don't leave the spit roast and that's exactly what they did. Yes, they ended up pulling it off, but it could easily have been spoilt. The blue team just got in there and did it and seemed very organised.

I was also happy that Miles and the others near the bottom escaped another elimination round. I know it was just pure luck, but they're safe for a few more days at least. Time to redeem themselves! It will be interesting to see if Matt uses his immunity pin. I think he would be crazy to in this instance because he's a lot better cook than a lot of the others in that team.

I want to see Zoe or Cecilia gone tomorrow.

The red team were behind the clock all serve. While the judges reckoned it didn't matter, imo waiting time is a part of the dining experience. And I wouldn't go back to a place that started serving dessert after the equivalent opposition's customers had finished eating.

I don't reckon Matt should have cashed his pin in. He can outcook the lot that went through.

Cecilia gone.

She was on the edge for most of the competition. And using cheese to hero ham didn't work. One has to wonder if she understood the brief. She would have nailed a cheese challenge.
