I have been walking around with my Brexit tee shirt and vote leave badge on for weeks. Must have worked as 60% of my council area voted for leave and they most certaiinly were not all 'elderly working class voters' as someone implied.

I think the final straw for man people was the leaked information that there was going to be a European army but they were trying t keepthat quiet until after the referendum.

Whatever you may think of the US I would rather be allied with them through NATO than having our armed forces partnered with soldiers from the old eastern bloc countries.
