It is my best score in over 2 years and hopefully I can keep playing well and I can get back to single figures,

(my putting was solid so that was a bonus) good.gif

Good luck with your golf,give_rose.gif

They cancelled the nine hole comp for today so I played 18 holes and won with 38 points,(back to a 9 handicap).good.gif

Just back from our week away and my grand total prize haul was 3 golf balls lol

I played well tee to green but couldn't putt for the first 4 rounds then, guess what, reversed it for the final day. Putted like a pro but took too many to get there.  Gawd it's a stoopid game sometimes!

I know how you feel as it just wasn't happening for me,(driving has been good but the irons have been good

or bad and the putting was poor),Angry head bang.gif

That's how I was playing over 18 holes for about 2 months and "turned" the corner in the last month and a

half,(6 out of the last 7 rounds are flags and the other two are the next two to drop of).

The major change is that I changed my putting grip and the putts are going where I aim them,(just miss

reading a few),blush-1.gif

The course has been closed for comp play this weekend as it's too wet.

Good luck with your next round,give_rose.gif

I won on Tuesday with 19 points,( we played the Gold from the ladies markers and I had a 36 of the stick) no

comp Thursday and I had a shocker today,(29 points for 18 holes)blush-1.gif

I'm on 1 exactly for the nine holes and back to a 9 handicap for 18,good.gif

Hi.  I haven't been in here for ages because I haven't been playing for one reason or another.

I played yesterday, started par, bogey, birdie, par.  I thought this was going to be IT 🙂 but, no.  Completely lost the plot after that and only scored 29 points 😞

We're off again shortly to play in a memorial day for a dear friend who passed away two years ago.  It will be sad but sweet.  It's a beautiful day here.  I think Tezza must have had a word with someone upstairs 🙂

That's a good start as you haven't been playing and 29 isn't bad,give_rose.gif

I've only being playing nine holes as the course was closed for 18 holes and some 9 hole days.

The first three rounds since the last update 21,(Red),19,(Blue),20,Red) for three wins.

Then the wet weather hit and we have been playing on the gold of the lady's markers and I won three in a

row with 19,20,20 points,(36,35 and 35 of the stick for six in a row nine hole comps I won including the pot

round for 55 cent pots for a month),good.gif

I played of scratch on Thursday but but only had 14 points to go back to .05

Finally played 18 holes yesterday on the Lakes and started with 8 points after 3 holes,(but finished with 11

points on the front and had more trouble on the back with only 14 points there),shok.gifAngry head bang.gif

So I have to figure out why there is so much difference playing 9 holes compared to 18,blush-1.gif

It's no  good all around now,,Angry head bang.gif

Nine holes have been ,14,14,12,11 points and we had a 27 holes foursomes where we finished 3 shots away

from the winners.

I had 33 points today on the Murray for 5th place.

11 points on Tuesday and 16 on Thursday playing 9 holes and 31 points yesterday playing 18 holes.

The Murray river is up high and it "invaded" some of the holes on the Murray course on Wednesday and

Thursday,(they played there yesterday as it had receded back into the Murray).

17 points last Tuesday and no golf since as I've damaged my right shoulder,(it was dislocated and the doctor

put it back in on Thursday),

I had an xray which seems fine and will have an ultrasound tomorrow,(as there is still pain on movement)crying.gif
