I'm imagining a chocolate fuelled hyperactive cockatoo.
No, scratch imagining, and replace that with shuddering with horror...
LOL

I got through the front door, closed it... took two steps and the shrieking started...
Urgent, "I need you here Right Now!" shrieking.
I opened the door, half expecting some kind of terrible calamity to be unfolding...
And who do you think is standing on the doormat, with ruffled feathers, and a very disappointed look?
Little girl magpie.
With the amount of noise she made I thought there was something genuinely wrong.
There was.
I hadn't noticed / fed her, ha ha.
I wonder if she does that to other people, round here?'
We were nice to the little baby magpie because she was so cute and adorable.
What have we done? Ha ha.
🙂

At least you could wait until I've unwrapped it...!
The cockatoos aren't any better - "There's food in your hand? I'll touch the back of your hand with my beak, then pull back, because that will move your hand, and reveal the food".
They'd be naturals with touch screen technology. I should get them an iPad, ha ha.

I see how it works...
Monkeys might get paid peanuts but chimps get paid cash.
