Mum has to go in for surgery on Wednesday.
Her feeding tube has broken.
Luckily dad noticed the food leaking out around the hole that the tube has going into Mums stomach.
She was taken to Dubbo base hospital but they cant fit her in till Wednesday so they did a patch up job on the tube and sent her back to the nursing home.
I dont know much else.
Dont know if she has to be completely knocked out for the surgery.
Maybe she wont make it through the procedure.

Its awful that your family, including your mum, has gone through this for so long. Does your mum have an DNR or NFR order? Because I imagine that is the last thing you could cope with, if it got even worse when she could have been left to be in peace. I would normally expect that you would have this order in place but then I read about how your Dad is in denial and wonder if he's not allowed this order to be placed.
