Takeaway finished breakfast and walked down the bridge, then stopped and looked back at me.

And sat there looking back at me...

"Excuse me, I'm waiting for you to say goodnight...".

There's no excuse for being distracted, ha ha.

Sometimes I forget how important I am to her, ha ha.

There's a possum on top of my fridge.

In the early hours, in the dark, I see it sitting there and watching me.

It has to live on top of the fridge,

Outside isn't a friendly place for a plastic possum.

Not just yet.

She's got her hands full with her little one, if it's not "Leap onto Mum's back!", then it's "I want to get back into the pouch!".

I might give it another couple of months. Yeah, that's a good catch-all excuse, by then you might have forgotten, or I can distract you with shiny Christmas things, ha ha.
