Hope he enjoys it.  I had a harness for my Siamese many years ago,

and it kinda went like this........

Only got one drag out of it

Even as a small child she nurtured her dreams of one day becoming a glamorous fashion model.

All she had to do was work out the finer details of this "cat walk" she'd heard so much about...

Lamingtons?

They sound pretty simple to make.

I'll use this recipe that I found...

Buy a small slab of Madeira cake and cut in into  8 pcs.

Then coat with choc - 1 tabs butter, 1/2 cup icing sugar and approx 1 teasp. boiling water ( you might have to fudge these amounts,  Don't make it too runny) and then roll in coconut.

Cutting up the cake was easy.

Making the chocolatey icing stuff was, excuse the pun, a piece of cake.

Rolling in the coconut was the hard bit because the kitchen floor's not that big, so I did it outside.

They don't look much like lamingtons, and I've got shredded coconut in my hair but I have to say cooking can be really fun!

😉

The flavour of the week, this week, is banana.

I don't know when the possums had banana last, a month or six weeks ago, when I was feeding the little birds in the late stages of the Winter, thereabouts, probably.

They love whatever the fruit of choice is, for a few weeks, then, in the case of the bananas, they ignore it and the birds trample it on the big table, leaving bizarre banana patties for me to find, ha ha.

Apples seem to have had their day, and the same seems to be the case for pears.

The good thing is I'll only have to wait a month or so then I can introduce the fruit to them, again, and they'll love it, again.

For a couple of weeks, anyway, ha ha.

I hope you remembered the cocoa or it would have been a bit tasteless...and they are not as easy as they sound.

They are guaranteed to be very messy if you let the kids help to make them for a school fete.
