Laser acupuncture for back pain

Has anyone had laser acupuncture, esp for upper back pain?

It has been recommended to me, but I'm unsure.

I've never had any acupuncture at all.

Does it work or not?

And how many sessions will I need?

BUT IT WAS A SERIOUS QUESTION........

Anybody had laser acupuncture for back pain?

Stawks, I don't know about laser acupuncture but many years ago my Mother had ordinary acupuncture for neck pain.

She hurt her neck when I was about 7 and it would have been 40 years later and she was still having problems.

Her doctor (Chinese) recommended the acupuncture but she was a bit dubious, like you.   She finally decided to give it a go...it was done by her own doctor and she was so pleased with the results that she wished she had used it years ago.

I don't remember how many treatments she had, but it was not a huge number and she did have a fair degree of instant relief with the first treatment.

I would thoroughly recommend it....I would have it if it was recommended.  Some health funds cover acupuncture....I know ours does.
