Personally, I think it would be wise to retain the sound. It may give some females more reason to cross the street! We are all searching for something in life.

everytime i indicate to turn it goes "dik head dik head dik head"

Dunno! But it could be anthing from people needing a lower back massage to people pushing a trolley cart. Could be a worry tho if the imastawka alert is sounding at the time!
