Tas-so sorry for you and the family too loose part of the family.

Richo.

Thank you Richo ..  Heart

She was a rescue cat, a tiny little kitten about four weeks old who almost died except, ironically, for the same Vet practice that saved her all those years ago who she has been with all the way through to now.

Latte had come through a lot getting her strength back and she fought hard for it.  A tough little Burmese xx

Now we have "Worf" and "Wesley" to take care of, both rescued from the shelter so life goes on and we can still carry it through.

Tas, I'm so sorry for you, and your family.

It's so hard to let them go.  14½ years is a good age.

You gave her all your love, for all those years, and she knew she was loved dearly.

RIP Latte

Thank you so much Stawks ... Heart

She really did have a good innings I agree, in fact, given what had happened to her to start with the Vet at the time thought that she probably would not make it at all.    She proved them, and us, all wrong and became stronger and stronger.

She had 'funny' back legs and always ran around sideways, it looked quite hilarious.  Quite prematurely, she lost most of her teeth but it never stopped her from the art of gobbling anything at all, except bones, so she simply sucked those.

I am so sorry Tas.  No matter how old or how ill they are it is always a sad day when it comes.Smiley Sad

Thank you Lyndal ... Heart

Yes, it is sad, we had hoped that she could get to maybe 20 years and still be fairly sprightly but at the same time, we think it was a miracle that she came even as far as she did given her history.

Thankfully, it all happened relatively quickly over those four days and the Vets fought for her so furiously, but it was not to be.

We are so grateful that she could have the amount of life that she did and she enjoyed every moment of it.

The "Don't judge too quickly" video - a bit of lighthearted fun...
