Friend has a son who has a daughter who is a granddaughter.  The friends other Granddaughter has a daughter being a great granddaughter.

 

What is the relationship between the two little girls.

It isn't a trick question.  I am confused also.

 

The son is the father of A and he is the uncle of the other granddaughterr who is the mother of the great granddaughter L.

 

I am writing an affidatit for the court and need to get the 2 little girls relationship correct.

This time I mapped it out on paper and came up with Aunt and Niece. This is assuming the maternal link is the same.
