Good morning all ....... 
Lots of lovely rain this morning, everything is turning green again and the black cockatoos have left the area ... 
Hope everyone has had a good weekend? For us, it's been making icecream, bread, yoghurt and a giant banana cake to put in the freezer. So far so good, May is going to be something of a frantic but happy time, happy because everything is organised and ready to go .. yay!!
I've even done some christmas sewing already and why not I ask myself, we're already one third through the year and now the other two thirds will rush by. I'll put a picture up when it's finished.

I made banana cake for the freezer. I swear they smelled it 3 suburbs away.
It came out of the oven, just as one of the grandies walked in the door.
It went home with her.
Oh.........and don't make banana cake with these bananas -

So where do I buy bananas with bones?
And why are they better for banana bread/cake?
The only thing I want to know about all of this is how they got the bones out of the bananas without breaking the skin ....
