The problem with sliced bread is that it only has four sides...

The old man bird with the busted foot turned up, so I made him some soaked torn up bits of bread.

He was sitting on the ground, so I put the food next to his head.

He sat there and looked at the food, then turned his head to the side and started eating.

Mister practical - I'm not moving if I don't have to, ha ha.

 

I was quickly making mushy bread, and assumed that the water in the electric jug would be cool, because it's been a bit since the last cuppa was made.

I put the bread into a sieve, poured on the water, shook it and emptied the sieve into my hand...

Then hurriedly got the cold tap on!

There's an assumption best not made, again, ha ha.

Over to the left, and a little above the line of the bird's head there's a piece of banana in mid air.

They like to play with their food, ha ha.

The Bassian thrush use their fart to locate prey. The gas helps move the leaf-litter from the ground, revealing worms and insects.
