I've just had one of those thoughts...
I've talked through the details with the funeral director, but I forgot to take into account my occasionally eccentric family.
They can be prone to being just a little bit literal.
It's very nice, but no... ha ha.

That baby bird...
Not that I was particularly paying attention, but by my count little mister grumble pants was fed twice between about half past one and four o'clock.
He's doing alright, ha ha.
He's moved on from addressing the world at large - "Waaah!", to bailing up any adult who looks even remotely like they might succumb to his charms - "You're an adult, why aren't you feeding me?! Waaah!".
The look on the bird's face was priceless - "Um, I'm not your parents...".
"But you're an adult! You're an adult! Why can't you feed me??!".
I don't often see cockatoos walking backwards, without looking where they're going, but this one seemed to think that even falling out of the tree would be better than becoming an unwilling surrogate, pressganged into service by the demanding baby bird... ha ha.
