I thought I'd "improve" Takeaway's breakfast platform - put in something a bit bigger.

On a nice sunny day like this it'd be a pleasant way to pass a couple of hours.

But there's an obstacle...

Two obstacles, to be fair, ha ha.

We're enjoying our sunny spot, and we're not moving for anybody... ha ha.

The newer of the two old birds likes to leave while it's still light.

He faces an arduous journey, in the evening, to get to his nightly roosting spot.

Out of the garden, over the roof and into the tree out the front.

He's got it worked out, ha ha.

Still working on it...

Takeaway sat down for breakfast and little possum in the pouch decided to get more comfortable.

Which was okay until she stood up to walk...

The expression "Walking with a watermelon between your thighs" comes to mind, ha ha.

The three steps she managed didn't look comfortable, so she sat down and nuzzled at her pouch.

I imagine, in muted tones, that a little possum was told, firmly "If you don't move...", ha ha.
