Are you actually a member of Amazon, aside from registering your Kindle I mean?
Cos' I have signed up with Amazon, they have my credit [well, debit card actually] card details on file [secured] on their site.
When I click on a ebook to purchase for the Kindle I just do the Buy Now with 1 click and voila, in an instant the book is on my Kindle, I have the confirmation email from Amazon and the money comes out of the account within a day or so.
Don't forget to sign up for Pixel of Ink. There are so many great free books to be obtained.
This is one I finished last night, and loved it, and it's still free.

I do the same, one click buy. If you want to save on fees, buy yourself a Kindle gift card. Then it's just one transaction on your card and statement.
Pixels of ink is great, there is not always a book I want but some days, I get 3 or 4 for free.

im guessing you can delete books if you dont like them?
Yes you can delete books you don't want. They are still stored for you though, on the Amazon site, so if one day you decide that you do in fact want to have that book, you just go to Amazon and have it downloaded all over again, of course for no cost because you've already paid for it.
