Erica, you can get your machine put on a stand. I have one and no more bending for me.

I have a Siemens Fully intergrated machine which is top of the line Bosch. It is wonderfully quiet, cleans well and can move shelves around etc. Have had it a few years now but touch wood if anything was to happen to it I would replace with the same....
