Poor elephant looked like it was saved just in time, seemed to have just about given up. Thanks ecar, what a wonderful rescue by those kind people.

That was one jumbo sized rescue....the poor elephant must have been so scared.![]()

I know that elephants can swim, and quite well, but as the story says it got caught in the currents and taken well away from shore.
Perhaps in future it'll stick to currant buns, rather than ocean currents, ha ha
An elephant went to sea, sea, sea
To see what he could see, see, see
But all that he could see, see, see
Was the kind people from the Navy coming to rescue him.
It may not rhyme, but at least it ended well, ha ha.

What a great, happy ending. It just shows that some people do care.
Not like the ones that pay big money to shoot our beautiful, wild animals.
I just read another story about Elephants.
Elephants never forget. I am sure this poor thing will never go swimming in the ocean again.

what a wonderful rescue Ecar.. it's great to see people doing something good for our precious animals

It does make you wonder.....and worry at the same time.
It's good that the Navy is rescuing them, though.
Some countries might not bother.
