She is lucky to have a caring daughter!!
My mum and I were returning home from (her work), I was about 11 at the time and was helping her at her job. We didn't have a car (being so dirt poor) and had to catch the bus to the city where her job was..and back home again. As we crossed the busy road, she got hit by a speeding car. She got thrown across the car and landed on the pavement. To my shock I ran to her as I must have crossed first and she followed behind me. And so the whole traffic stopped and a delivery guy stopped to help my mum. Ambulance came and I thought she was dead! It all happened quickly! The guy who hit her was devasted and luckily not a hit and run.... but he apologised over and over again.. In the end, my mum ended up with a clavicle surgery, hip and pelvic surgery. She was in hospital for weeks and weeks recovering. She's ok now, but she's lived it up since her accident. She reminds me that life's too precious to have regrets and so forth. I'm grateful she's still alive today and wondered a few times what life growing would be like if she wasn't around. I probably won't be where I am today to share you this story. All the best with your mother's recovery. May god be with her always 🙂
