Now is Chubba going to be having peritoneal dialysis Tania?? If so that is great because it is so much easier (even if he uses a machine to cycle overnight), than haemodialysis and gentler as well. You shouldn't have too many problems with him going to kindy etc with a catheter..providing he doesn't use it for show and tell everyday!:^O

Hubby was an emotional mess yesterday...he took chubba into Op room stayed in while they knocked him out etc by the time he walked back into the prep room he was crying...I was shocked until I realised I was like that the first time....:-) he was ok after a while......
Just finished breaky so I better get moving to the hospital...hope to bring chubba back here today if everything is ok 🙂

When my boy was 8 weeks old he had to go for a hernia repair...you would think they would have child sized stretchers in a kid's hospital?
