Quilt show, Tas?
I went to something similar many years ago in Melbourne - a quilting, embroidery, buttons and ribbons and well, "Sewing Fest!!", ha ha.
I duly tagged along behind my ex girlfriend, towing a small four wheel cart that gradually became laden with books and tools and fabrics and who knows what else... ha ha.
I remember the complimentary comments from the nice old ladies, there - "He's a keeper...", ha ha.
Strangely enough, in spite of my vow to "Never again", I went on to do similar "Nice guy" kinds of things, which only goes to show that I'm a sucker for a pretty smile, a head tilted slightly to one side, and a plaintive "Please...", ha ha.
And even if I ran into her on the street tomorrow, I'd never admit that I did, to some degree, enjoy myself on our little outing - it was a fascinating window into another world.
But Never Again! ha ha.

... I don't know how to tell you this ecar, but Mr. Tas is coming with the whole gaggle of ladies to the quilt exhibition today (voluntarily) ....
