Takeaway gets up...
Zoo gets up...
Zoo goes belting, helter skelter towards breakfast...
Just another day, you might think...
But no.
Takeaway can smell something...
So she follows her nose in the direction of the Toffee house...
Mister Boy possum comes hurtling out, up the spare reserve emergency bridge, avoiding her...
And so the dance begins...
Two possums, a four foot interval between them, and lot of stopping and grumbling...
But she saw him off the premises in an uncharacteristically sedate manner, ha ha.
While this took place, Zoo had breakfast... and more breakfast... and more breakfast... ha ha.
I left her amusing herself, and went down to the other end of the pergola, to watch the grown ups...
There was a sudden thundering of little feet on the bridge, above and little face appeared over the edge...
"Watcha doin'?"...
Someone had realised that she'd been left alone...
Should she go looking for Mum, or come and annoy me?
Hmm... Tough choice, ha ha.
"Okay", I said, "Lets go back down to breakfast, there's not much we can do here...".
I walked, she galloped...ha ha.
I laughed when she crash tackled a piece of bread and slid along the bridge with it...
And then stopped and ate it...
They treat me like family - they just assume that at a moment's notice I'll pick up and run with whatever's happening, ha ha.
