Found this at St Vinnies thinking I could use it for necklaces. Asked the staff and they said maybe for ties. A bit of a mystery.

it's approx 34cm x 4.5 cm. 12 swinging arms to top row and same to bottom. 3 lots of 2 hooks below. Curious to know what it is. TIA.

It has 2 screws supplied, hole each end in the brass section.

Hope that's not too big.  And hopefully someone will know WTH it is.

That's what the lady in st vinnies said but the length of each arm is 5cm and it has a small closed rounded end.

Don't think it is part of machinery, not with wood.

And the screws are to go into a wall not onto machinery.

Screw it onto the wall in the back of the wardrobe to hang your winter shirts with coat hangers ?

 

But I think david is onto something with the tie rack.
