Not after Midnight Cat Wink

Vinnies (The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul) set up a little nativity in a local mall, in the run up to Christmas every year.

I like going past to see who's turned up at "the stable" this time.

It's like a little unfolding narrative...

I know how the story ends, ha ha, but it's still fun to go along and see how it's going along - Who's going to be there this week? ha ha...

Hey! It's the cow! Don't worry, cow, the donkey will be here, soon, with Mary and Joseph, then it can tell you about the really amazing chariot pile up out on the A-15 that they saw, on the way here... ha ha.

And later on, you can have fun at the expense of the three Kings...

"We bring you gifts...".

"Gold...".

"Frankincense...".

"-Moo!-".... ha ha.

What is not fun about that? ha ha.

🙂

I'm still reeling from the shock.   Southland shopping centre (melbourne) has one of the most beautiful christmas trees i've ever seen in a mall.  And next to it ....the nativity...the old fashioned one that we know, if anyone can remember!        The baby in a manger and mary and joseph and i think a couple  of lambs thrown in too.

Can't help but wonder how long it will be allowed to sta:y there.    Smiley Surprised i'll get some photos next time.

Has anyone else seen non pc decorations?

So pleased that at least one shopping centre has shown some initiative, hopefully more will follow    ..... If someone chooses to be offended by it, then that's their decision   ..... Aust is and hopefully will always be a Christian country

It's not  people who are offended by nativity scenes that are the problem, it's people who take it upon themselves to assume that others will be offended. I've seen plenty of letters to the paper and comments on social media criticising those who claim to be offended,  but I can't say I've ever seen a single one  by anyone actually doing the claiming.

I have and on more than one occasion

I actually find stalker's nativity post quite offensive 😞

As you would.

State the offense.

I find it offensive that you can't spell my name.

Here, this one should be more offensive for you - being a non-drinker
