its my birthday this weekend. The 6th birthday since Mums accident.

I truly feel for you being so far away from your mum, and knowing she is not the mum you remember and love. Must be like living through a nightmare for you.
just had a call from my sister.
My Nan (Mums mum) has had a fall and stopped breathing.
She is in hospital and they have a tube down her throat to give her oxygen.
My sister has to make the decision to keep her on life support or turn the oxygen off.
The doctors say there is very little hope of her ever waking up.
My Nan has been in bad way for a few years now. She is obese and barely moves from her recliner chair. She lives in a small unit and gets home help and meas on wheels.
I have told my sister to get them to turn the oxygen off. Nan would not want to be on life support and my Mum would not want her Mum on life support.

Nan is in a coma.
She has an oxygen mask on only.
She has pneumonia.
They do not expect her to wake or last the day
