In the dark, at the end of the corridor, I can faintly see cream fur.
That'll be her chest...
She's dragged herself out of bed, into the doorway, and flaked, ha ha.
As if I didn't know exactly which house to look in, first... the coolest one, ha ha.
She growls, and she snarls and she chases people...
This is Her place, make no mistake... ha ha.
She was sleeping in the Brown house less than a week ago, in the Old house the night before last, and now she's trying to escape the worst of the heat over in the Toffee house.
Of course this is Her place, and she's not going to let anyone even form the idea of moving in...ha ha...
Got it good? I don't know, what 's better than good? ha ha.
And the best thing is that before she gets up, the water in the dish just next to the front door (the height of convenience...) will have been changed...
It'll be air temperature, not exactly cool and refreshing, but clean, and very welcome after a hot day like this...
She knows she has it good, ha ha.
