This is what happens when your in govt but only by a very slim margin of seats.
all those your trod on getting to where you are, and you didnt care about as you were untouchable because you were sitting pretty in a govt with a comfotable margin of seats see now they can hurt you, and your govt.
we now know that the 'affair' was fairly well known about in parliment house for quite a long time. even our PM who acted like it was all news to him when it hit the front pages it now seems knew a long time ago and said nothing.
this govt has within its own ranks a lot of angry people.
its obvious the opposition wasnt going to raise the affair publicly (not sure tony abbott wouldnt have if it had been the deputy opposition leader when he was PM)
and the media must have known about it and didnt say anything when they could have, like during the citizenship problem.
or during the SSM debate when barny was out there promoting 'only traditional marriage will do"
something must have happened to get it published.
