It will David,

He has been through a lot in the past few days - it will take him a bit of time to come good.

He has the best Dad - he knows it - look how comfy he is - well - for his shape & size.

A very good outcome - for a very worried parent.

Yoo Hoo!   How is Foo today?

hes a lott better today

got his apetite back

i think the knee is his most painful area, hes not into long walks yet, we just go far enough for him to find his 'spot' then come home and

he has moved, honest he has

What a sweetheart of a dog, he is recovering so well and being so good ... Heart

Is there anything you can give him via the Vet to help with the aches and pains?

Wish I could give him a big hug and tell him how brave he is.

hes on another course of antibiotics.

cats and dogs do have a natural ability to get over things we wimpy humans would be laying in bed calling for 'more pain relief people!' dont they.

if foos lump wasnt right on his knee where hes constantly streching the skin i doubt hed even notice it.

You are so right about that David, the humans are more worried than he is, bless him  ..  Smiley Very Happy

see, he does move, i go to watch tv in the lounge, hes in the lounge

and rosie, well, not exactly lady like

Rosie reminds me of my Himalayan cat Abby.  She used to sleep on her back on my bed with her head hanging over the side of the bed.  It was not unusual when she was very sound asleep to see her disappear ever so gracefully over the side onto the floor.

She landed with a plop and a rather startled meow......then back onto the bed to repeat the performance.Smiley LOL

If Foo makes his wound bleed by chewing it the best thing to use to cover it is Vetwrap bandage.....it is flexible and sticks onto itself so no pins or clips needed to keep it in place.   It comes in wild colours and is usually available from your vet...you may find it available online when you buy your dog and cat food.  I used to get it at the local saddlery.  We always had it on hand for the horses.   My daughter found it great for her kids when they were young.....they could not manage to get it off as easily as an ordinary bandage.

Edit.....I have just checked on ebay and the Vetwrap is readily available.....much cheaper now than when I was buying it.

so far so good, hes not chewing at his wound. he has licked it a couple of times.

ive just ordered some of that VetWrap. the ad says aussie seller but i think most of these sellers are fibbing. we will see how fast it gets here.
