Hi she ele. I've just read on the first job thread you worked in East Anglia. I was born in Great Yarmouth and lived in Kesingland for the first year of my life. Can I ask where abouts did you live and how long have you been over here?

Oh, wow! I moved to East Anglia when I was eight. We lived in Eye for several years, then Redgrave and then Wortham, (Just outside Diss) We were renting and had to move as the family increased. I and my twin sister were the eldest of 10 kids.

I went to Eye National School and then The Convent Of Jesus And Mary in Ipswich and my first job was with Tucks of Burston. Two of my sisters were boarders at the cconvent in Lowestoft - but that was after I'd emigrated.

I used to go camping with the girl guides at Kessingland. I came to Australia in 1962 aged 21 first to Sydney, then to WA.
