New jacket arrived today, getting him to pose, hmmm.

Poor Foo does not look at all happy.

That coat looks to be a bit long for him.....the strap should be round his chest, not his tummy.  He might be feeling uncomfortable....try loosenig the belly band.

i'm expecting the jacket to shrink when washed, just put it on straight out of the bag it came in. if you look at the jacket on the 'model' the strap does go behind the chest on a greyhound.

its the same on his old jacket.

the velcro strap will take some getting used to unlike the adjustable strap on the old jacket (set and forget)

velcro just grabs, i will not let it be too tight.

oh, and the 'not happy jan' look, was because when the jacket goes on he thinks its walk time, but i wanted him to stand still while i took the photo.

as soon as i put the camera down he was happy again.

snug as a bug in a rug

Poor Foo, wants his walkies.

To me, it looks  too close to his wotsit - for want of a better word.

Are you sure he can lift a leg comfortably?

Maybe too low down on the shoulder?

See how it goes after you wash it.

i'll put it thru the wash and see if it shrinks then do a bit of 'fitting' practice.

with the old coat i had to fold the sides up a bit to stop him peeing on them.

this new one has much wider straps and the sides go much further.

might need a bit of sewing adjusting.
