I've had a cold these last eight or ten days, one of those "It'll only last four or five days so don't worry" colds...
I don't mind the whole aches and pains and a nose that either runs or doesn't depending on how it feels at the time, and the cough, well, I could do without the cough, ha ha.
I think what bothers me the most is the lethargy - it's so hard to get things done, ha ha.
I don't need some clever person on the TV to tell me it's a full moon.
I have a possum...
She got up while it was still light, stuck her head out of the doorway, looked at the old man bird all the way down the other end of the bridge, looked at me, looked at the sky and disappeared back inside... ha ha.
She doesn't like full moons...
She doesn't like being illuminated...
I think she likes the element of surprise when it comes to sneaking up on other possums and jumping on them, ha ha.
Apparently it's going to be a blood moon and there's something to do with Mars being in the picture, too, all at 5.30 in the morning...
Well fancy that... ha ha.
Just after dark I looked out the kitchen window and watched the moon rise, with Mars just over there to the right, and I didn't have to go outside in the dark and freeze my toes off at some horrendous hour, either, ha ha.
Blood moon, clear moon... Do I really care? It'll be back in a month's time, anyway, and I'm sure by then I will have found a piece of tinted plastic to look through so I can "view" (I sound like a trendy when I say that, ha ha) my own personal Blood Moon... ha ha.
I shouldn't laugh.
If a simple natural phenomenon brings joy to the hearts of people then it can't be be all bad.
Bless their little thermal socks, ha ha.
