Dont try this at home children. Roos can be VERY dangerous animals, especially when distressed and they usually only head for water when they feel threatened by something.
I once watched some council and RSPCA people trying to catch a roo on the school soccer ground opposite our place (no idea how it got there, miles from their usual haunts).
A couple of hours of free, harmless and very diverting amusement.
